This fall I began a new tradition of ordering myself a batch of apple cider donuts from Vermont. I could make them myself (and I have) but the cider mill that produces them “the old fashioned way” makes the luxury too affordable to pass up. They are delicious as-is, but I’ve found a few new ways to amp up their cinnamon-spiced goodness!

Toasted Cider Donut Snack Mix |
There was no shortage of inspiration when it came to riffing on these pastries. I crisped them in the waffle iron, folded them into ganache for truffles, toasted them in the oven with homemade salty sweet snack mix – I could go on, but you can see all of the ideas with instructions at Food Network.com!

(Be sure to check out that cra-aa-zy good cider donut breakfast sandwich too!)

Thank you, Mimi. I'm not sure what happened but it should be working now. Let me know if you still have trouble.
These look so good! From where did you purchase the doughnuts?
Hi! Cold Hollow Cider Mill. They are such simple little things, but so delicious. If you get a bag, then be sure to heat them up a little before you enjoy them. They really are best warm.
