Halloween is fast approaching and I've got candy on the brain!
I have a special love for the nostalgic goodies that ended up in my treat bag as a kid, so I've re-created one of the classics. This is my no-bake/no-cook version of Tootsie Rolls®! You can find the recipe and instructional photos on Food52's Small Batch!

ReplyDeleteNo cook/no bake...sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI love!!! Tootsie Rolls. What an ingenious recipe and idea!
ReplyDeleteWe were just talking about how much we love tootsie rolls!
ReplyDeleteI never liked tootsie rolls. They don't taste like chocolate; they taste like a chocolate scented candle. But homemade everyone is usually better, right? Plus cocoa powder always gives a great chocolate taste to everything. It's a neat idea: making you're own tootsie rolls.
ReplyDeleteperfect for halloween!
ReplyDeletethey look yum never had them b4 but will do soon
ReplyDeletei want that.. yummy
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite candies growing up, going to get the recipe now!
ReplyDeleteQuestion, what kind of honey? Liquid or creamed?
ReplyDeleteIt's times like this I wish I lived over the pond so I knew what a Tootsie roll was. Whatever they are, they look and sound amazing but equally as great that you shared the recipe too so I can taste a homemade version! :)
